🚓 BIG NEWS FOR BORDENTOWN CITY 🚓
After years of planning, hard work, and anticipation, the Bordentown City Police Department has officially moved into its new headquarters at 101 E Park Street!
The department has relocated from its longtime home at 324 Farnsworth Avenue, marking a major milestone for both the Police Department and our community. This project has been a long time coming, and we are incredibly excited to finally see it come to life.
The new facility provides a modern, updated space that will better support our officers and staff as they continue serving and protecting the residents of Bordentown City for years to come.
Please note:
The public entrance for the Police Department is not through the main City Hall entrance. The Police Department entrance is located on the left-hand side of the building.
We are proud to reach this exciting moment and thank everyone for their patience, support, and dedication throughout the process. We look forward to this new chapter for the Bordentown City Police Department and the entire community!

THROWBACK THURSDAY — Joseph Bonaparte & Point Breeze 📜🕰️🪶
Did you know that Bordentown was once home to royalty?
In the early 1800s, Joseph Bonaparte — the older brother of Napoleon Bonaparte — made Bordentown his home after leaving Europe. He built a massive estate along the Delaware River known as Point Breeze, which became one of the most famous properties in America at the time.
The estate featured beautiful gardens, walking paths, lakes, artwork, and an impressive mansion that welcomed many notable visitors from around the world. Point Breeze was considered one of the grandest homes in the country during its time.
A fun local connection: the current City of Bordentown municipal complex now sits on part of the former Point Breeze property — meaning City business today takes place on land once owned by a former king!
