UPDATE: Last night, the water department was successfully able to secure and install a new motor at our water plant. It will take some time for the system to get back to operating at capacity, which we anticipate will be later today. While this refilling of our tanks progresses today, some residents may experience cloudy water. This is typical and we recommend you let your water run for 30 to 45 seconds.
At least for today, we recommend residents still conserve water. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience and support.

ALERT: Earlier this morning, there was a pipe burst at the City’s water plant. There was some damage to the pumps that push water out of the plant and into the distribution system throughout the city. In the interim, the water in the system’s two water tanks (Carslake and Crosswicks) have provided clean and safe water during this time.
An emergency contractor was notified and has been on site fixing the pumps. As these repairs are being made, we ask everyone to be patient and please try to conserve your water usage today. Thank you for your cooperation.
