Hydrant flushing is a routine and essential part of maintaining our water system. This process helps to:
✔️ Improve water quality
✔️ Remove sediment buildup in water mains
✔️ Ensure proper water flow for fire protection
✔️ Keep our system running safely and efficiently
During flushing, residents may experience temporary discoloration or low water pressure. This is normal and should clear up shortly after flushing is complete. If discoloration occurs, simply run your cold water until it clears.
