Zoning

The City of Bordentown Zoning Officer is responsible for reviewing all zoning applications for compliance to the City of Bordentown land use regulations.

Zoning permits are required for almost all exterior type work, such as, installation of pools, sheds, decks/patios, generators, driveway improvements, etc. Zoning permits are also required for additions to existing footprints of a structure, as well as some interior work such as converting a garage into a living space, finishing a basement, etc. Prior to undertaking any improvements to your property or any of the structures, you should consult with the Zoning Officer to see if your project requires a zoning permit and zoning approvals.
