Recreational Cannabis Local Regulations & Application
In August of 2021, Bordentown City's governing body approved an ordinance allowing the establishment of the recreational cannabis industry within city limits. While small in stature, our one-square-mile city is big on offerings:
a walkable community with light rail access connecting to every major point on the bustling Northeast corridor
proximity to every major highway
a bustling downtown with first-class dining options to entertain business associates
and personalized customer service where the city administration knows you by name.
At the heart of New Jersey (check out a map to see for yourself!), Bordentown City was once home to an OceanSpray manufacturing plant. Today that site is one of several major industrial properties zoned for cultivation and manufacturing, while retail dispensaries are offered prime placement on the bustling Route 130/206 corridor, which is zoned for a limited number of licenses to avoid oversaturation.
