Jennifer Sciortino is serving her second term on the Board of Commissioners where she currently holds the posts of Deputy Mayor and Director of Public Safety and Affairs. First elected in May of 2021, she previously served as Mayor and Director of Revenue and Finance.

Sciortino has worked in public service for nearly three decades and currently serves as Deputy Chief of Staff for the NJ Department of the Treasury. Prior to that, she specialized in communications for numerous government agencies, including the Governor's Office, the NJ Treasury Department, both houses of the Legislature, the NJ Health Department, and at the municipal level for the City of Perth Amboy. 

Sciortino moved to Bordentown in 2008 and currently lives on Farnsworth Avenue with her wife Molly. Prior to serving as an elected official, she helped run Bordentown City Cats, the city's local 501c3 animal rescue group.
