Police responded to the Beanwood Coffee Company Cafe located in the 200
block of
Farnsworth Ave. on a reported theft. Upon arrival police were advised
that money from a
tip jar was taken and given a description of the female who allegedly
took off with the
monies. That female was stopped on Farnsworth Ave., minutes later and
was identified
as the culprit, and arrested and charged with theft of moveable
property. Released after
being given a court date was 25 year old Sharra Loftin of Florence, NJ.

While on patrol police noticed a man sleeping on a city bench on the 100
block of
Farnsworth Ave. Upon awakening that individual, police identified him as
James
McCulley, 36, of Cape May. Mr. McCulley was found to be in possession of
a small bag
of marijuana, a smoking pipe, and three knives. Mr. McCulley was
arrested and
subsequently charged with possession of weapons for an unlawful purpose,
possession of
marijuana (Under 50g), possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting
arrest, and obstructing
the administration of law. Mr. McCulley was lodged in Burlington County
Jail in lieu of
$5.000.00 full cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Municipal court
later in May.
