PRESS RELEASE FOR FEBRUARY 22, 2010

A vehicle coming out of Thorntown Lane onto Rt. 528 was stopped and the
driver, 21
year old Brian Tagye of Egg Harbor, NJ, was issued summons for wrong way
on a one
way and driving while suspended. Mr. Tagye also had an odor of burnt
tobacco coming
from the interior of the vehicle. Sgt. Matt Simmons at this time had his
K-9 Terri
conduct an exterior sniff of the accused vehicle, Terri indicated
positive for the presence
of CDS in the vehicle. Mr. Tagye was now charged with possession of
marijuana and
possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a plastic baggie
containing green
vegetation and a smoking pipe in his vehicle. Mr. Tagye was turned over
to Ventnor PD
for an outstanding traffic warrant in the amount of $639.00 and will
appear in
Bordentown City Municipal court to face local charges later this month.

Feb. 20 8:30 pm
A Mary St. resident reported to police the theft of her 1999 Jeep
Wranger which was
parked in front of her residence. The vehicle was placed into NCIC
computer as a stolen
vehicle and by 11:34 pm the vehicle was located in Princeton Junction,
NJ, and returned
to the owner. Invest is on-going.

Feb. 20 2:00 am
A vehicle traveling 206 northbound in front of Bordentown City Patrol
vehicle was
observed to travel across marked lanes of travel seeming unable to
maintain travel in a
single lane. That vehicle was stopped and the driver, 34 year old
Erniliano Vazquez, of
Trenton NJ, subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated. Mr.
Vazquez was also
charged with failure to maintain a lane, reckless driving and creating
risk of an accident.
Mr. Vazquez was released to a family member with a court date later in
March.
