June 27 10:05 pm
While on patrol in the 300 block of Farnsworth Ave. police noted a

was lying by
the curb unleashed. Officer Shaun Lafferty approached the two
subjects and
advised them of City ordinances forbidding these offenses. One
subject began
shouting and berating the officer yelling obscenities as she
continued to consume her
alcoholic beverage. When the accused attempted to strike the officer,
she was
placed under arrest for disorderly conduct, assault on police and
resisting arrest as
she attempted to avoid being handcuffed. The accused, 51 year old
Margaret
Anderson, was taken to police headquarters where bail was set at

Police patrolling the City Beach observed three individuals standing
on the dock
area. As the beach is not open to the public after 9pm, contact was
made with the
three and it was discovered that two individuals were wanted on
outstanding
warrants from other jurisdictions. These jurisdictions were notified
and one
individual was released ROR with a new court date and the other
individual was
turned over to Bordentown Twp. P.D. on their warrant. The third
individual was
clear of any wants and warrants, however, when asked if he had any
weapons in his
vehicle he answered in the affirmative, having two weapons. That
subject, 23 year
old Curtis L. Brown Jr. of Morrisville, PA, advised police he had a
permit out of
Pennsylvania to carry concealed weapons. However, that permit is not
valid in New
Jersey nor is the use of hollow point bullets which were also found
loaded in the
weapons. Mr. Brown was released on $1,500.00 bail after being charged
