Police stopped a black Lincoln traveling the wrong way on Hopkinson Street (One Way). While on the motor vehicle stop police observed the driver, Donavan Hughes, 18, of Burlington, making furtive movements within his vehicle. Police observed an opened cigar, or blunt, while Mr. Hughes was attempting to locate a valid insurance card. Closer inspection of the cigar revealed that it contained suspected marijuana. The cigar, (4) four small bags of suspected crack/cocaine, and $388.40 in cash was seized as evidence. Mr. Hughes was formally charged with Possession of CDS (marijuana under 50 grams), Possession of CDS (crack/cocaine), Possession of CDS with Intent to Distribute, Possession of CDS with Intent to Distribute within 1000 feet of a school zone, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and various motor vehicle violations. Mr. Hughes was then released. A restraining order to keep Hughes from returning to the area has been submitted to the court.

Daniel Stinehart, 20, of Bordentown Township, was arrested for DWI pursuant to a theft investigation. Mr. Stinehart was also charged with Careless Driving, Reckless Driving, and Consumption of an Alcoholic Beverage in a Motor Vehicle. Mr. Stinehart was released to a friend.
