Police responded to Mary Street for the report of a motor vehicle crash.  Upon arrival police spoke with the driver of the vehicle.  The driver, Jessica Green, 24, of Bordentown City, stated that she was sending a text message on her cell phone when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a parked car.  Police detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the breath of Ms. Green as they spoke with her.   Ms. Green was subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain lane, and reckless driving.  Ms. Green was given a court date for later this month and released to a friend.

Police responded to the Bordentown 7-Eleven store for the report of shoplifting.  The suspects had fled prior to the arrival of police, but the license plate number from the suspect vehicle had been obtained.  Police were able to contact the driver of the vehicle, a New Egypt resident.  Police were also able to contact Rachael Heiser, the 19 year old passenger of the vehicle.  Ms. Heiser is the individual that was observed taking four cans/bottles from the drink cooler.  Ms. Heiser provided false information to police on two separate occasions before Plumstead Police Department was contacted.  Ms. Heiser was apprehended by Plumstead Police Department and transported to Bordentown City where her true identity was discovered.  Ms. Heiser was found to have been reported missing in Pennsylvania.  Ms. Heiser was charged with shoplifting and hindering her own appreshension, was given a court date in July, and was released to her mother.

Police observed a vehicle traveling at what appeared to be a high rate of speed.  The vehicle was swerving and struck several parked cars before police were able to affect a motor vehicle stop.  The driver of the vehicle, Roderick Goyette, 24, of Hamilton, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Speeding, and Failure to Maintain Lane.  Mr. Goyette was given a mandatory court date and released to a friend.
