Police are investigating the theft of a navigation unit stolen from a motor vehicle parked on Elizabeth Street. The perpetrator(s) smashed the passenger side window to gain entry into the locked vehicle and steal the unit. The value of the navigation unit is unknown at this time.

A Park Street resident has reported the theft of a Sirius satellite radio from her vehicle, which had been parked on the street and left unlocked. The radio is valued at approximately $100.00.

While on patrol police observed as a vehicle rolled through a stop sign at the intersection of Butts Avenue and Crosswicks Street. The vehicle was stopped at the intersection of Crosswicks Street and Lafayette Street. The driver, Christopher Alustiza, 23, of Bordentown City, was eventually charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Failure to Stop or Yield, and Reckless Driving. Mr. Alustiza was given a court date in April and released to a family member.
