City police are investigating the theft of a pedestrian crossing sign from the 600 block of Farnsworth Avenue.  The sign is intended to stand in the center of the roadway and warn motorists to yield to pedestrians in crosswalks.  The sign is approximately 36" in height and 8" in width.  The sign is valued at $170.00.  Anyone with information concerning the disappearance of this sign is asked to contact the Bordentown City Police Department.

A vehicle was observed as it nearly struck another vehicle while unsafely changing lanes on Route 130 South.  The vehicle was stopped and the driver was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated.  The driver, 18 year old Tyler Sheehan of Bordentown, was also charged with underage driving after consumption of an alcoholic beverage, unsafe lane change, and reckless driving.  Mr. Sheehan was scheduled to appear in court and released to a family member.

A vehicle was observed pulling onto Route 130 North from Rydell Apartments.  The vehicle failed to yield to southbound traffic on Route 130 and forced another vehicle off of the roadway.  The driver of the vehicle was subsequently arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.  The driver, 26 year old Richard Hotalen of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, was also charged with careless driving, reckless driving, and driving while suspended.  Mr. Hotalen was given a court date and released to a friend.
