A resident of Lucas Drive found muddy footprints on his carpet upon returning home from work.  The resident also found the rear window open and found that numerous DVDs were missing.  The DVDs were the only items reported stolen, and were valued at nearly $2,000.00 total.

While on patrol police noticed a seatbelt violation on Route 130 North.  The vehicle was stopped in front of the Edgewood Motel.  The Driver, Michael Matos, 28, of Trenton, was subsequently charged with DWI, driving while suspended, reckless driving, and uninsured vehicle.  Mr. Matos became enraged when police attempted to handcuff him and attempted to flee.  Mr. Matos was also charged with resisting arrest and hindering his own apprehension.  Mr. Matos was given a court date later in December and released to a friend.

Police are investigating the theft of a Nintendo Wii game system from a residence on Elizabeth Street.  Items reported stolen include the Wii system, controllers, and $350.00 worth of Wii games.
